Robert Glaser

President, NCADA

Robert Glaser is the current President of the North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association representing North Carolina’s new car, truck and RV dealers across North Carolina.

During his 24-year span at the association, Glaser has initiated and coordinated the efforts of franchised dealers in programs such as the North Carolina Teacher of the Year program, the Support our Troops program, the World War II Flight of Honor program — flying 821 World War II vets to Washington DC — and most recently, the North Carolina Hometown Heroes program.

Glaser is a graduate of the University of Dayton as well as the University of Notre Dame’s US Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Management program. He worked as a CPA in the Washington area for 5 years before moving to North Carolina.

He is a former chairman of the Association Executives of North Carolina (AENC), a former chairman of the Automotive Trade Association Executives (ATAE) as well as the former Chairman of the Board of the Regents of the University of Notre Dame’s Institute for Organizational Management, sponsored by the US Chamber of Commerce.

Glaser served on the North Carolina Global Climate Change Legislative Commission from 2005 to 2010 and was the founding chairman of the Holly Springs’ North Carolina Parks and Recreations Board of Directors. Glaser also served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).

He and his wife Dawn have three daughters.
